University by the SeaOctober 5th: Urban Paradise had a booth up at University by the Sea to promote the project and have a plant sale. We had a great turnout and made some beautiful art where people could paint their own plants. Armstrong nursery generously donated 42 plants to our project (CAN YOU BELIEVE IT!!??) and Jorge Orchoa, a teacher at Long Beach City College donated 36 water wise plants to the project! thank you, thank you, thank you. We all had a great time and thanks to everyone that stopped by or volunteered at the booth, bought our vegan cookies, and took the time to learn a little about the project.

Ok, before I say anything else...did you see our article in the Grunion Gazette this week?? Can you believe it? turn two pages in the paper and at the top you will see the title "Group wants to see Paradise on main library Rooftop" or click here ...get
excited, we all did.
